About the Optional Damage Waiver
The optional Virtuoso Rental Damage Waiver is a one-time payment, equal to the cost of one month's payment, and covers repairs to your rental that we determine are outside the basic maintenance agreement included with your rental. It also covers loss due to Fire or Theft.*
In order to secure this protection, the Virtuoso Damage Wavier must be purchased at the inception of the rental. You may decline this protection; however, it may not be added retroactively after the rental commences.
The plan will remain in effect until the instrument is either purchased or returned to Elefante Music. Elefante Music will, at our option, repair or replace your instrument due to damage or loss due to fire or theft, less a deductible. The deductible for group A Instruments is $350 and for group B Instrument the deductible is $450.
This damage waiver does not cover loss of use, mysterious disappearance, gross negligence or abuse.
* Claim of loss due to theft or fire requires submission of documentation in the form of a valid police report.
